PRP Hair Regrowth Therapy
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) uses growth factors concentrated from a small sample of your own blood, which are applied to the scalp to support the hair follicles. It is commonly used for early to moderate hair thinning and hair fall in both men and women, often as part of a wider hair plan. Results build gradually over a course of sessions, with maintenance to sustain them.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is PRP hair treatment?
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) uses growth factors concentrated from a small sample of your own blood, applied to the scalp to support the hair follicles and reduce hair fall.
Q: Does PRP work for both men and women?
Yes. It is used for early to moderate thinning and hair fall in both men and women, including female pattern hair loss.
Q: Will it stop my hair fall?
Many people see reduced shedding over a course of sessions. Results vary with the cause and stage of hair loss, which we assess before starting.
Q: How many sessions will I need?
Usually 4–6 sessions spaced about 3–4 weeks apart to begin, followed by maintenance sessions to sustain results.
Q: When will I see improvement?
Reduced hair fall often comes first. Visible density changes are typically assessed around 3–6 months, as hair grows slowly.
Q: Is PRP painful?
Discomfort is usually mild. Numbing can be used for comfort, and most people describe only a brief tingling or pressure.
Q: Is there downtime?
Minimal. The scalp may feel a little tender for a day, and we ask you to avoid washing your hair, gym and sauna for 24–48 hours.
Q: Is PRP safe?
Because it uses your own blood, allergic reaction is very unlikely. A short medical check is done first, as it is not suitable with certain blood conditions or medications.
Q: Can PRP be combined with other hair treatments?
Yes. It is often combined with GFC, prescribed topicals or other hair therapies as part of a longer-term plan, decided during consultation.
Q: Who is not suitable for PRP?
It is less effective in advanced baldness with no active follicles, and not advised with certain blood disorders, on blood-thinners, or with active scalp infection.
Q: How is the plan customised at Esthétique Le Divine?
We assess your hair-loss pattern and cause first, then tailor the number of sessions and any combination treatments to your goals.
Q: How do I book, and can NRI clients plan around travel?
Book via the website form, call +91 90048 53711, or message us on WhatsApp. NRI and international clients can schedule sessions around their visits to Mumbai.
Pre-Care & Post-Care
Before Your Treatment
- Stay well hydrated and eat before your appointment
- Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before
- Tell us about blood-thinners or supplements you take
- Wash your hair; come with a clean, product-free scalp
After Your Treatment
- Avoid washing hair for around 24 hours
- Avoid gym, sauna, steam and swimming for 24–48 hours
- Avoid alcohol and blood-thinning medication for 24 hours (as advised)
- Avoid direct sun and harsh styling products for a day
Because PRP uses your own blood, allergic reaction is very unlikely. A brief medical check is done first; it is not suitable with certain blood disorders, on blood-thinners, or where there is no active follicle to stimulate.
